Babies are tested to determine extent and nature of hearing loss

Appropriate hearing aids are recommended and fitted on the children.
There are opportunities for creative play and guided learning experiences.
Home visits are arranged to monitor language stimulation within the family and to help the child and mother adjust to the needs of the home environment.
Individual auditory verbal sessions are scheduled, where the teacher works with the mother to develop listening and oral communication in the child and between mother and child.
